Lucinda's Bio
Lucinda Nicholas is an prominent Australian born model, actress and former beauty queen. At the age of 17 Lucinda won the title of Miss World South Australia.
Acting Career
Lucinda featured in Australian Feature film ‘The Tail Job’ which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in Utah, Park City in February 2016. Lucinda played a character by the name of Jenna. The film came to cinemas across Australia and is now available to watch on Amazon.
Lucinda has played the lead actress in various popular musical hits and has featured including X Factor finalist Nathaniel Willemse’s film clip ‘You’re Beautiful.’ She also played the lead actress in French Producer Watermat’s song ‘Bullit’ which amassed over 24 million views on YouTube.
Upon moving to India, Lucinda secured a recurring role with one of India’s biggest production houses Balaji Telefilms as a character on Star Plus’ show ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’ in 2017 playing a prominent role of an Austrian woman speaking both Hindi and English in her dialogue. As a requisite in the industry Lucinda learnt Hindi to be able to speak and communicate on and off set and is close to fluent with her language.
Lucinda’s first prominent role in a Bollywood film was that of the role of an Australian- English friend to the main lead in the film titled ‘Guest Iin London.’ The film released on July 7th 2017 in the United States, Australia, The United Kingdom, India and in many other countries. Lucinda’s role was an English-speaking role and she filmed both in London and Mumbai.
After being involved with a few key productions at this time Lucinda went on to land a role in a South Indian Film. The dialogue of the film was in Telagu, another entirely different language. The film ‘Luckunnodu’ was released in January 2017. Lucinda acted alongside South Indian film star Machu Vishnu. Lucinda also featured in her own song as part of the film including backup dancers.
Lucinda’s next acting assignment was as the character of a profiler in the web series ‘Barcode’ directed by Vignesh Shetty and Panorama Productions, which released in November 2018. Her role received accolades in recent press.
In September 2017 Lucinda was invited onto one of India’s biggest reality shows. Alike the Australian version of Big Brother ‘Bigg Boss’ is a reality show, which includes 14 participants inside a house with daily tasks and challenges set. Hosted by India’s biggest star Salman Khan; Lucinda was an international participant on the show where she was set to play an acting role as a challenge set by the producers. Lucinda was the second ever Australian on the show following in the footsteps of Australian cricketer, Andrew Symonds. Lucinda stayed in the house for 15 days and was evicted by the housemates. On the show there was no English dialogue allowed. The show garnered up to 150 million viewers per episode.
In September 2018, BBC released a series called ‘Bollywood: The World’s biggest film Industry’ in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Lucinda featured on the documentary series showcasing her perspective on what it was like to work in India as a foreign actress. The documentary has been televised on multiple occasions.
In January 2019 Lucinda moved to the United Arab Emirates where she became a popular beauty model in the region being a model for world famous makeup artists. Lucinda became the face of CBBC brands in Dubai and became a frequent presenter at the Dubai World Trade Centre for the shopping outlet – Her live crosses were broadcasted on Gulf News and Khaleej Times channels and her face graced billboards all around the DWTC.
In August 2019, Lucinda was asked to participate in MTV’s new show ‘Ace of Space.’ Lucinda was eliminated one week before the finale making it to day 65 of the 70-day show. In the show Lucinda was a star performer and showcased many talents including dancing, yoga, her acting abilities and physical and mental strength. The show received an award for ‘Popular New TV show’ and garnered up to 70 million viewers per episode. The show is proclaimed as one of the most difficult reality television shows for its contestants on Indian television.
In 2021 Lucinda worked on ‘The Stranger’ with Joel Edgerton as a flight attendant and in Cate Blanchett’s ‘Stateless’.
January 2022 Lucinda was featured as the main female lead for Speed Records Punjabi song ‘Ladgi Kamaal’ and in November 2022 Lucinda returned as the main lead for Tarsem Kamb’s sequel song ‘Neat Lagake.’
Lucinda has amassed over one hundred thousand followers on her social media platforms due to her work background and has formed paid brand partnerships with many well-known International and national Brands.
Ambassador Roles
Lucinda has been the brand ambassador for many International brands including her ambassador roles with Ipanema Sandals, Gerard McCabe Jewelers and Novo Shoes Australia.

Lucinda has featured in magazines across the globe including HELLO! Magazine, GRAZIA, MAXIM Australia, FHM India, FEMINA India and Women’s Health Australia. South Australia Style Magazine and more. Lucinda has graced the covers of the City Times in the UAE, the Sunday Mail in South Australia and Grandeur Lifestyle India.
Training
Lucinda completed an acting course at Actors Ink in 2010 for
intermediate acting training and in 2013 completed Lisa McAskill’s
television and online presenting course.
Lucinda completed her 200-hour intensive yoga instructing certificate in Byron Bay at the Byron Yoga Centre in 2015 and recently trained in stunt and fight work for camera and film in Los Angeles by ‘Mission Impossible’ stunt coordinator Daniel Locicero in October 2018.
In February 2020 Lucinda received a scholarship at New York Film
Academy LA campus for a 8 week intensive for Acting In Film but returned shortly after due to the pandemic.
